Announcement

Families who have children and young people with special needs very often deal with similar life styles. We have all had concerns ranging from education, acess to services, respite and other issues directly related to their childrens needs. Parents of disabled children bring families together for friendship, to share information and to support one another.

The forum was created by parents who have children with special needs and is run by parents so we are all in this together. With us you will realise you are not alone

Parents of disabled children launched in October 2009 and we are growing day by day and are fastly becoming a major support resource for all

large 'baby' gym style toy
cheapsensorytoys
I had this specially made for Matty, but he's outgrown it now, after it served its purpose of getting him to reach for items!
Its basically a wooden frame, similar to the plastic baby gyms you can buy, but much bigger. I had it when Matty outgrew the baby ones, but still couldnt control his arms enough to reach for a toy.
Its painted blue, although could be done a different colour if you wanted. It screws together, and can be taken apart for storage.
You can hang your own toys on it, although I will supply a few that I used if wanted.
Ideal for placing over a disabled child on the floor, to either encourage them to reach for items, or simply to watch things on.
£10 for this, I'm in Sheffield for collection, although am happy to try and package it up if you want to arrange a courier.
