Announcement

Families who have children and young people with special needs very often deal with similar life styles. We have all had concerns ranging from education, acess to services, respite and other issues directly related to their childrens needs. Parents of disabled children bring families together for friendship, to share information and to support one another.

The forum was created by parents who have children with special needs and is run by parents so we are all in this together. With us you will realise you are not alone

Parents of disabled children launched in October 2009 and we are growing day by day and are fastly becoming a major support resource for all

Thats probably it then, you've just made me remember that at one ride they wanted to see that Matty was big enough and asked me to stand him up....

We also had a similar problem with Grayson not being able to sit unaided, I went a few years ago and this didn't seem to be the case, we were sneaky and I held Grayson next to me on a ride and then once it was moving I put him on my lap, I wasn't going to ruin the day totally, the rides are so slow it didn't matter a great deal.

We got in very easily with our carers letter, the wasps are a major problem, I only saw a couple of catchers, luckily none of us got stung but it did ruin the day a little.

I didn't use the stamps as I didn't think we would be entitled with Grayson only being 19 months, we have just been awarded free tickets from Merlin, so planning on going again, cause it just nice for us to have a day out.

Hi everyone...its a quick question really! Did any of you manage to gain exit pass with JUST the DLA letter?

I had no idea that legoland did these, and would find it so helpful for our day out tomo x

(i will be along to introduce myself a bit better soon Big Grin)

I can't remember, I think I took Mattys school statement letter along but I honestly don't remember showing it though!

If I remember rightly they prefer something with a diagnosis altho we didn't actually have that (just had dla letter) and the lady let us off so I think it also depends who you speak to. Maybe take a hospital letter with diagnosis and a dla letter to be safe Smile xx
