Hi,
My name is Slawomir. I am proud dad of Autistic 12-year-old lovely boy who recently has been refused several times placement at chosen by us (parents) mainstream secondary school. Now luckily he is attending this school however we could not appeal to the SEN Tribunal regarding his disability discrimination while applying for a school. Our case was stroke out because of the gap in the law. According to the law, you cannot appeal against the school (local authority is making the decision for a state school) or local authority either (out of the power of the SEN Tribunal). Altogether it took us over one year time to struggle and my son lost four important months of his education.

Please, can you read and kindly sign and support our petition to the Government to change this situation for future cases similar to ours.

Kind Regards
Slawomir
