ok so had a phone call today saying that mckenzie has a deletation of chromosome 16 any one know what this means ??

Hi did they not give you any more information? like is it a deletation of the whole chomosome or a deleted gene on C-16. I hope ypur feeling ok and get some answers soon. Nat

Have just had a look at at chromesome 16 deletions and i found this 16p11.2 deletion syndrome,where children show signs of autism (all defferent levels) and also i read that there are deletions they dont know about yet.

in his report it just says that microarray testing showed him to have a short deletion on chromosome 16, the significance of which is unknown
