Does it depend on what type of catergory write off the car is at all?
Or can you get it back on the road anyway?

apparently as long as the log book hasn't been sent off as scrap, you can do it? It has to go for a checkup once its repaired, as well as a new MOT putting on.

Thanks all In the end we decided to let it go as when this women hit the car she was going at a speed that she bent all the metal thing under the car, we was told that if we did get it repaired then there would of always been a weakness there so we decided that it was propley best if we let it go. She is having to pay through her insurance for the hire car that we have and also has to pay us some money towards a new car as well as getting what the car is worth.
