Hi All,

My son starts full time school (9am - 3.30 pm) from Sept. This made me think if it would be feasable to get back to work. I've been at home since 2 years to give my son 1-2-1 attention and this as made a mountain of difference to him. But now that he goes to a special school where he gets a lot of support and activity.

I was just wondering if any of you have any advice as to what working mums do during holiday time. Do your Children go to daycare nursery during holidays. My son has GDD so he needs full time adult support. Not sure if a daycare can provide that sort of support? Are there any specialised daycares around which I hould consider?

Any advice will be very helpul...thanks Smile

We have some special needs play schemes here but they only tend to be for a week or 2 and not the full holidays. I would suggest contacting your local Family Information Service as they should be able to help you with this. They will know of any specialist provision or if there is any support available in mainstream daycare settings.
