My son has CP and is due to have tendon lengthening surgery (Bilateral adductor tenotomies and gastrocenemius recessions) in one month's time and I was wondering if anyone could advise me on how the experience was for their child with regards to pain relief, aftercare and results.

I am trying to prepare my son and myself for the operation so I would love to hear from anybody whose child has had similar surgery.
