New clubs that offer disabled youngsters across England, Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland the chance to learn new skills in a fun way has been launched by young people’s charity Whizz-Kidz.

The Ambassador Clubs run eight times a year, and build on young people’s confidence through activities like drama and music workshops, sports, healthy living, and video-camera training.

Whizz-Kidz is a national charity which aims to give disabled children and young people independence to support active childhoods - and helps Children just be Children. The charity has piloted Ambassador Clubs since 2005, but funding from the Big Lottery Fund (BIG) now means that more young people can benefit from the sessions as they are rolled out across 14 different regions.

The clubs run from 10am – 3.30pm and take place during school holidays and on Saturdays. The clubs are free to attend and Whizz-Kidz can pay for you’re your transport.

For more information contact Jess Bool, Ambassador Club Manager, on 020 7798 6108

There comes a point in your life when you realize:Who matters,Who never did,Who won't anymore...And who always will..
So, don't worry about people from your past, there's a reason why they didn't make it to your future.
