Hello everyone,
I've just read through a fair few posts and will be going through more shortly, there are some amazing stories on this site.
I take my hat off to all of you. Someone made a comment about their child's problems being 'not a big deal' (compared to others), but you know what, it's a big deal to you because it's your problem and you live it everyday.
Anything that our children deal with that makes them different to everyone else will always break our hearts. But as you all seem to have done you find a way to get on with it and make life the best you possibly can,

My youngest son has just turned 5 yrs old. He was diagnosed with ADHD and ODD in March, however after starting school he has been assessed over the last couple of months by their psychologist and they suspect Autism Spectrum Disorder.
Sean been full on since the day he was born.
He also suffers many health issues and on a regular basis visits his respiratory specialist, eye specialist, orthodontist, paediatrician and psychologist. Only last week he endured 2 hours of dental surgery as he has no enamel on his teeth which has resulted in them decaying which is connected to his growth delays. Life is never dull with my little man so it would be nice to speak with some other mums on here.

Hi and welcome, thanks for introducing yourself! how are you finding the assessment process? our son is 2 1/2 and has been under assessment since he was 1 because he has a rare medical condition. I am finding it so long and drawn out its tiring.
