I wonder if members would be willing to follow this link, and vote for Rachael?
http://www.community-champions.org/nominees/126/rachael-pickin

Rachael is actually a member on here (mentalmomma) but shes been nominated for a community champions award.
A group of 5 residents (including me Big Grin ) in our area have set up a community group called 'High Hopes'. We aim to improve the area for all local residents regardless of age, and have organised a number of events so far including summer fetes, and an Easter Fayre. We also run a free weekly drama group that is regularly attended by between 25-35 children including some with special needs such as autism and ADHD.
Other plans in the pipeline include a 1940's social evening for senior citizens, a Christmas fair, and a pantomime with the drama group.
Rachael is the chairperson of the group, and despite being a mum of 5, 2 of whom are autistic, she works tirelessly to come up with new ideas and to organise events and raise funds.
She really deserves this award, but also, it will help High Hopes gain a lot of recognition, which could be invaluable towards gaining funding for the future success of the drama club and all the other events we hope to organise!
Voting is really easy, and can be done using your facebook sign in.
Thanks for reading!

voted Big Grin
There comes a point in your life when you realize:Who matters,Who never did,Who won't anymore...And who always will..
So, don't worry about people from your past, there's a reason why they didn't make it to your future.
