Hi Becky,
parts 2.3 and 4 are wrong!!

Part 2 explains a different child - honestly, when I got it I double checked the name at the front!! They have omitted all his difficulties and been so positive - where is that going to get him?!

Part 3 does not quantify the access - it just says ie 'access to' rather than weekly etc

Part 4 says mainstream!! What??!! Even the school cannot believe that. The LEA applied to strike out my appeal in ALL parts too so I wrote to the judge with my reasons and they hve allowed the appeal to go through on all parts.

I have re-written the statement as I see fit (taken from all the original reports and sent it off to the tribunal).as it gives a clear overall picture of my son unlike the original statement. The school, SCDDS team are backing me up too.

have the school been giving your son one-to-one? do you hope they decide to name a special school. last school year they were great with my son he had excellent support but this school year they changed everything and everything they had in place was taken away. but they also shut me out too. the senco is at fault, but ive given up even trying to speak to her as she is very condesending and she smirks while speaking down to you. she has also stopped inclusion team and my doctor from visiting school. but even last year with all the support he still made no progress so its not like doing anything different will make a difference. so i will be asking for a move to a special school as i know its the right place for him

Hi Josh gets one to one ALL day. He attends a new specialist provision, but because it is new they have put mainstream....which is certainly not right as if I took Josh out of the school with that written on the statement - no unit on this earth would accept him! Ridiculous. But the Judge told me she has the 'power' to state specialist provision on it. Gotta go as friend just turned up x
