The good thing in local gevernment is the electronic government policies dictate timescales for responses and they cant be fiddled as emails are date stamped far more accurately than letters. Phone calls can be forgotten about and unless you have a meeting recorded or independently minuted then it's your word against theirs Sad
Local government finance for housing repairs is still pretty fluid whereas grants for replacements are held-up by so much red tape.
Because the wet room is installed and working it needs repair to make it work safely and properly.... and there's the added leverage if needed using health and safety due to a damaged hall floor Wink
I can see a very baffled housing manager getting told to sort this pretty quick!
