trust me, the labs dont rush for anyone! we were so worried that out littlest one alfie had cystinosis it was a terrible time waiting but they appear to have no sympathy! and they sent ours to about 4 different hospitals to make it all that bit more complicated!

blood tests are never nice for Children, takes me n 2 members of staff to hold euan plus dan to destract him! x

i have a feeling the tests wont show anything, what might be the next step after that? the doctor was talking about a brain scan.

I think the blood tests are just standard to show if there's fragile x etc. After the blood tests came back clear my son just had the ASD diagnosis and that was it. Did they say why they might do the scan?
PS A good tip is that if they have a restricted diet & likely to have deficiencies its good to get those done at the same time to save 2 lots of blood being taken.
