Its not something you open its a tricky way of getting your finger under the guard and pressing the release button.
Its really a good device and even i struggled to get out until i sent Lucy to get the instructions so yes it does work well.

Thanks. I think I'll order one now anyway. My son's not too bad in the car, but then I've only been driving a couple of weeks so having a car is still exciting for him lol but there has been one or two occasions where he has taken his seat belt off when he's having a meltdown for not getting something in a shop!!
