it is not an income back it might be because you dont have to pay it out so it leaves you with more money as you didnt pay it out

This was really good news for us, we had been unable to submit an application due to the change in rules but now are under the threshold for earnings, the fact that it takes take home pay from my husbands salary makes a huge difference for us.
We have been able to apply again.

What they dont take into account tho is how many Children you've got! We put in a request for a holiday payment but are less than £150 over the limit so can't get it, however, we have 4 children so can't afford a holiday this yr either now :-( Someone on the same wage as my husband with only 1 child will have a lot less outgoings so they should think about that as well. We qualified for Family Fund when we only had 3 Children because our tax credits payments were lower, hadn't planned a 4th but wasn't his fault the protection failed & wouldnt be without him now :-)

Is there anyway you could reduce the income by £150 and then in turn gain a possible grant which could be higher than the £150?
