Hi ellyhop,

We have a whole section on car seats & accessories on Living made easy for children which you might like to have a look at. This includes details of the products, and the contact details of national UK suppliers.

This includes a section on swivel & tilting car seats
.

You might also like to read our advice page: choosing & using car seats which includes information on where you can try specialised car seats. We also have an overview page of the advice we've written on car seats which may also be of interest to you - where I've been aware of other helpful organisations I've signposted to them within these advice pages.

Best of luck with it - if you do choose a new car seat that's listed on Living made easy for children, it would be great if you could write a review on it to help other parents.

Hello ellyhop we have one you can have it when we get our new car which will be at the end of august beginning september, it is a swivel seat has side supports and head supports its just that i cant lift son anymore FREE to good home. Let me know if you are interested. We are getting spelcially adapted remote control seat that comes out and goes on base of a wheelchair and also getting wheelchair lift hoist for the back, it fits in the car so easily and uses normal strap fiddely but ok i will send picture if you want. Do let me know if you are interested, if you cant wait that long ask your OT thats where we got this one off them a grant or ask NEWLIFE for a grant. You still need to go through your ot to sign the form. YOUR OT should be able to sort out where to go for one. but if you want this one it will take your child up to the age of 10/12 i was told i have the booklet with it, weve only had it 12 months. Let me know what you think. speak soon. xxxAngel

Hate doing this bit as so often it seems a daft question but if offering a car seat can you please just confirm it has never been involved in any kind of accident no matter how minor? Blush
(It rules out any kind of liability on the forums behalf Sleepy )
