let you all know later how i get on - as if there is no joy i am seeing our MP next week - i was going over his 'lack of suitable specialist and the inability to of the local hospital to find one' but if needed i will make it a 2 point meeting

hi everyone, the local councillor has said he will see what he can do, but recommended that i see the local MP - who i will be seeing on Saturday morning - i will keep you informed x

he did seem to offer encourgagement, and did actually say that he had managed to change a few decisions already made in the past. As i am sure you are aware, there are lots of issues surrounding a disabled child and sometimes they seem to all get at you at once, he had a lot of real sympathy and offered help in other areas of our life that i had not heard of before.

The suggestion to see the mp was to chase the medical side of our problems (like not having seen a specialist consultant and we have had a diagnosis since last september) and he said he would follow up the housing issue with the mp as a back up who was aware of the whole situation.
