charlies social worker came around this afternoon and he said i should b able to get direct payments and sitting service so i can go out Smile he was really nice but seemed a lil off wen he asked about my health and asked if i was on any meds n i told him im on anti-depressents Sad

i wouldn't worry too much, i have a very large network of parents of disabled children and i can assure you that those who ARE medicated are definitely the majority. we do a very difficult job with limited assistance and support so its not surprising that sometimes we need a little help. having depression doesnt make you a bad parent In my opinion the fact that you have sought help for you depression means that you want to get better and be happier and that says a lot about you.

yeah he said it needs to go to a panel n then they decide but he said he doesnt see why i shouldnt get them x
