Usually a few days by courier and you will have to be in to sign for them.
How much did you get awarded?

i have had money from the family fund for clothes and accessories for my sons specialist pram "new bug ormessa" this was supplied without raincover and footmuff. the money for the pram was put straight into my bank account, the money for clothing was credited to a family fund card sent through the post the card was supplied with a chip n pin number to be used like a debit card, it could only be used at BHS. you have to keep the receipts for twelve months in case they need proof of purchase.
if vouchers are awarded for instance Haven holidays the money is sent direct to the holiday company you are given a telephone number to ring to book your holiday and the award is deducted from the total amount of the holiday chosen. hope this is helpfull
I never thought it would happen to me.

We have had vouchers a few times for holidays. We were told they go further if you use Thomas Cook. Thomas Cook do UK breaks too - http://www.thomascook.com/holidays/uk-breaks/ so they do hoeseasons, haven and butlins.
We tend to book online through a cash back site as it makes the cost cheaper still.
You have to type in all the codes from the vouchers individually to get the discount. You then have to send them the vouchers recorded delivery.
I know it sounds like a bit of a faff. We did try just going into the Thomas Cook branch with the vouchers to book. But the exact same holiday was going to be £200 more expensive!
We have only done UK holidays for lots of reasons. We hire a luxury log cabin, all modcons and with the hot tub. Heaven!
