Announcement

Families who have children and young people with special needs very often deal with similar life styles. We have all had concerns ranging from education, acess to services, respite and other issues directly related to their childrens needs. Parents of disabled children bring families together for friendship, to share information and to support one another.

The forum was created by parents who have children with special needs and is run by parents so we are all in this together. With us you will realise you are not alone

Parents of disabled children launched in October 2009 and we are growing day by day and are fastly becoming a major support resource for all

that will be good to use when you at home, he can type it in and put it in the speakers to press speak, it looks a bit big to carry round or is the size on pic wrong? i going to ask the speech therapist when i speak to her about the one on ebay as its got a neck strap as well. i like that large screen for showing films for matt to watch while we driving as his dvd player has broken, going to get some use out of this lol, cant buy mine until i know about the funding, wont be happy if i buy it and they then say "oh we got the funding they sending the ipod in couple of weeks" which would be my luck lol but i should speak to her sometime this week

the ipod slots into this one and costs £40 and it means he can use it on school bus as well but that one sounds good for the car

I suppose that suits Matt perfectly then!
They sell this at the local argos clearance to me with the IPOD slots cant remember the price though as didnt really look,i will look next time im there if you want!

The car solution suits us perfectly as its twin screens but they can both watch a diffrent dvd which will be great and they can play games as well, rather than ARE WE THERE YET all the way to paris Big Grin and then noticing we havent even left Birmingham!!!!!!!
