We have all had concerns ranging from education, acess to services, respite and other issues directly related to their childrens needs. Parents of disabled children bring families together for friendship, to share information and to support one another.

The forum was created by parents who have children with special needs and is run by parents so we are all in this together. With us you will realise you are not alone

Parents of disabled children launched in October 2009 and we are growing day by day and are fastly becoming a major support resource for all

It did go really quickly this year didn't it?
Matthew ended up in hospital on Christmas eve, which meant lots of tears from me as he missed all our usual preperations, and I thought I was going to spend the day without him or my husband. At midnight they came home though, cue more tears because it made things so perfect!
It did mean the day seemed more relaxed than usual, because I realised it wasn't about having a tidy house before guests arrived, or that everything was 'just right', it was already like that because Matty was with me and not in a hospital bed where I'd struggle to get to visit!

That just really puts things in prospective! I'm so glad he was out of hospital for Christmas day and you were able to spend the day as a family. How is Matty doing now? Hope hes much better and recovering well. X

Things can be hard on occasions but well worth it!Heart

He's fine now, it was yet another chest infection but they sent him home with steroids. He's still having regular doses of his inhalor but mainly to keep it at bay now Smile sadly my baby nephew is now in intensive care with a similar thing, hopefully he'll make it home before the new year!
