If you are looking for advice and information on equipment for children and young people with disabilities, look no further than "Living made easy for children"

The website, which is run by national charity the Disabled Living Foundation(DLF), provides independent, impartial information on all types of equipment for disabled children - from beds and chairs to toys and games, bathing aids and wheelchairs to car seats and buggies.

As well as detailed information on equipment, the site also contains lots of useful advice written by occupational therapists. You can contact DLF's Helpline on 0845 130 9177
(Mon-Fri, 10 a.m-4 p.m) if you'd prefer to speak to someone.

The website is funded by the Department of Children, Schools and Families and DLF is a founder member of the Department of Health's Information Standard.

DLF do not sell items directly but know who can provide most equipment and also can assist with possible funding sources.
