hi all

just a wee update on my little madam....she had her kidney scan this morning and according to the sonographer they look ok. at least we now know that she now has 2 of them & they are the right sort of shape. paeds are going to evaluate the pics and decide from there. apparantly her condition can cause kidney problems, but hopefully this wont be the case.
jorja did really well, it was me that was a nervous wreck! lol

I hope it turns out that nothing is wrong with her kidneys. you can rest now that she had it done and its all over and done with now. lets hope for good news

its horrible to go through i know that or for any hospital appointment. my wee boy goes and gets his testicle checked out as he might need an operation to bring it down if it hasnt came down itself.

thanks karen...your right it is horrible having all these appointment. surprisingly enough im daring to be optimistic this time! lol i know the sonographers cant tell you much anyway but im getting really good at reading professionals faces & she look quite positive so fingers crossed!
hope your wee one gets on ok....our little ones are so brave & they seem to take everything life throws at them in their stride! im so proud of my little madam & am amazed how a 3 year old can teach an adult so much! (oh..im having a soppy day! )

next time i have an appointment with matthew at the hospital i will sit there and read her face lol. this appoinment is a peaditrician app just a general of how well he is doing and his reflux etc etc. he is being sick and this can come and go all depends on his muscles, i think this is why he cant sleep at night with pain from his reflux and he has a pillow as well. i will try and raise his bed up tonight but bareing in mind that he is sleeping right now so it cant be reflux ! and it would be burning him. so he would be screaming in pain.

Hope the appointment was ok, fingers crossed her kidneys are fine. euans aren't and he will eventually need transplanting , i am dreading when that day comes but i suppose atleast i know it will come so shouldn't be a shock as such. Children always amaze me how brave they are
