Housing problem

Families who have children and young people with special needs very often deal with similar life styles. We have all had concerns ranging from education,acess to services,respite and other issues directly related to their childrens needs. Parents of disabled children bring families together for friendship, to share information and to support one another.

The forum was created by parents who have children with special needs and is run by parents so we are all in this together. With us you will realise you are not alone

Parents of disabled children launched in October 2009 and we are growing day by day and are fastly becoming a major support resource for all

We have a TAC meeting tomorrow (team around the child) at the meeting there will be ourselves, our keyworker someone from the aids an adaptations team (our housing association) and someone form another housing organisation that only deals with adapted properties at the moment i feel as though we are sort of being bullied in to having adaptions in our current property something i couldnt go thro again, I have asked for a housing support officer but apparently we do not have these and the person from aids an adaptations can assist us on this in some ways i feel as tho were just being fobbed off !
Any tips and advice for us to take to the meeting would be gratefully appriciated
