don't know about the rules on a council property, but for the one we have we didn't need planning concent as it was within a certain size. It's not classed as a permanent building so the rules are a bit easier to bend.
Where do you live?? We are selling ours soon, at a very reasonable price as we are having an extension built in its place. Also have you not considered getting a DFG? We are having a downstairs bedroom and bathroom at the back of the house, and a drive way, ramp and porch on the front. You can have these wether you own the house or not. |

We are in powys.
We are on the council list for a bigger house but they just dont have anything, neither do the housing associations! We are desperate now as there are 7 of us living in a small 3 bed house! They have been around to look at adapting it, but its not looking sucessful as there is so much work that needs to be done! |

Is there room to have a static caravan craned in? you can get reasonable ones delivered and installed for a few hundred quid ......... maybe an ideal thing if you have teens who want privacy
