We have all had concerns ranging from education,acess to services,respite and other issues directly related to their childrens needs. Parents of disabled children bring families together for friendship, to share information and to support one another.

The forum was created by parents who have children with special needs and is run by parents so we are all in this together. With us you will realise you are not alone

Urgent advice needed asap...chesty....

hi all just a quick one please

my son has been fine in hes self , but since monday i noticed he had a bit of a chesty croakyness in hes chest,

hes trying to cough it up but he cant get it out ,

it doesnt make a noise in hes chest when he breathes or anything

just coughs and its chesty and sometimes when hes saying a few words and laughing its like its stuck there and has a bit of a funny voice i took him to the drs on wednesday as i thought it would of cleared but he checked and just said hes not chesty on hes back or front and he said it could be in hes resporotary

he has been suffering reflux problems recently and has been reffered to ENT in september

and he still has it now , i feel useless as i cant get it out

it must be annoying as he trys to cough it up but cant


any suggestions pls as im worried ?

Did the doctor say it was in the throat at all?
As many of these lurgies hang about in the throat with a crackle noise?

no daniel he never said

just quckly said it could be in the respiritory , and that was it

but he still has it now been a week , just notice it when he coughs its chesty ,

dont know what to do really , i dont give him much milky things while hes like this
