hi everyone,
sara sophie's mum has asked me to update you all on sophies surgery which happened on thursday, as she cant get onto the site from hospital.

Sophie was due to have a Fundoplication and Gastrostomy fitted, however on the day the surgeon decided not to perform the fundo and just fit the gastrostomy. apart from being in quite a lot of pain sophie is recovering really well and being very brave, she had some problems with vomiting immediately following the surgery but is now tolerating her feeds well :-) they hope to be home on sunday as long as everything continues to go well.

awww fab news, maybe they thought she wouldnt need the fundo after all, should speed up her recovery! glad shes doing well, hope saras comping too and hope she gets out tomorow sending hugs
