Hi wandering if anyone can give me any info on what to expect from social services Occupational Therapist. We already have Occupational therapy as my son has Sensory issues which they are dealing with but i had a visit from a home safety advisor as i am having problems with safety with my son the open plan kitchen turning the oven on his facination with draws and doors his night waking & climbing out of his cot landing on his head etc... but there wasnt much they could do except he should sleep on a matress on the floor so what happens when he gets up 3-4 times a night and escapes out of my room and hurts himself .They did say they were willing to write a letter stating the property was unsuitable and it was dangerous for my son .So my health visitor said if they couldnt help then i would be reffered to social services ot i dont know what they do are they different from a normal OT![]() Mum of 2 lovely boys Sometimes i cant tell them apart lol![]() |
