Ive not personally heard of this myself but i googled it and come across the Wikipedia page:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Proprioception

It can cause the balance to be poor si yes this could be the case.
Looking at the wikipedia page there are things that can be done to help such as balance boards which can improve the balance.
Well worth a read of the wikidpedia page Smile

What did the doctor say about the future of it are they planning to put any help in place?

Hi Daniel,

Doctor hasn't said much more what she did say was we have 3 propriopeceptive skills one is the inner ear the test is not a pleasant one ( the doctor herself had this done to see what it was like) plus it cannot be done on someone with learning difficulties as they have to be awake, she said the 2nd one is vision and told us joes vision is quite poor and altho joe wears glasses i dont really know how poor his vision is we actually have an appt at the eye clinic fri so am going ask i want the truth of them now the 3rd one is the muscles in the legs and could be t spending a lot of time in plaster cast joe has spent considereable times in plaster she has not said anything about the future yet we have got to weait now for an appt of the physio so they can do the tests, then we go back and see her in 6 mths when all test should have been completed, the doctor i seen has known joe since he was 2 and i trust her is she is straight to the point, no messing about with her,
thank you for the information you found
