Families who have children and young people with special needs very often deal with similar life styles. We have all had concerns ranging from education, acess to services, respite and other issues directly related to their childrens needs. Parents of disabled children bring families together for friendship, to share information and to support one another.

The forum was created by parents who have children with special needs and is run by parents so we are all in this together. With us you will realise you are not alone

Parents of disabled children launched in October 2009 and we are growing day by day and are fastly becoming a major support resource for all

Hello,
You don't say how old our son is but I have been having the same problem with my 15 year old son.
He has been dry and clean for the past 3 years ad all of a sudden back in May he started wetting again.
We still don't know why, we have tried all the drugs and things that we can try but nothing has worked, we have no had to put him into pull ups of a night time, he wont even get up to use the toilet which is right next to his bedroom when he is awake!.
I don't know the answer but I wanted to let yo know you are not alone.
I wish you luck in your quest for an answer and some help x
Claire

sorry my son is 5. my OT put in a step for him as he isant using the toilet. so my OT is getting someone to put ina rail for the toilet as he finds it hard to balance. ihave a rader key for him when we are out so we can go in the toilet but he dosent like using them atall so i struggle with him usuing strange toilets. he had dcd but i just dont understand why he is weein all over his bedroom floor and he poos and put it in the towel and gave it to me the other moring. and when i was away his brother was sleep downstairs and because he wanted him awake he weed all over where he was sleepin so he couldnt go back to sleep. he shares a bedroom with his brother and he wakes him up so his brother is nackard inn the day. and he is also storing food aswell and we find him eating toffees in the moring
