Announcement

Families who have children and young people with special needs very often deal with similar life styles. We have all had concerns ranging from education, acess to services, respite and other issues directly related to their childrens needs. Parents of disabled children bring families together for friendship, to share information and to support one another.

The forum was created by parents who have children with special needs and is run by parents so we are all in this together. With us you will realise you are not alone

Parents of disabled children launched in October 2009 and we are growing day by day and are fastly becoming a major support resource for all

Sam didnt roll over or sit till he was 15 months, by 2 years he was just taking his first steps. I know it is disappointing hearing news like this, try to think positive, they are trying to prepare you for worst case senoria. I know it is emotionally draining, as a parent we all want what is best for are children. do you do any exercises with her? if you dont maybe worth a try i used to do it with Sam daily. I really hope everything works out ok, please try not to worry to much about the future at the moment. (((((hugs)))))

Hi

Joseph didnt walk til he was 3 1/2!! He does use a Kaye walker but at least he's up on his feet!!

They do always tell you the worst case scenario because when a child is that young, nobody can tell exactly how they are going to progress.

Stay positive

Libby
