When we got the diagnosis of finding out that I have a 9q deletion has made me feel weak because they dont offer counselling on how you feel, but i am me at the end of the day.
our relationship as a married couple can be strained on time with the daily stresses of looking after Children with complex needs. when chatting to other people you find your not alone and with that you can build on it. there must be something there between us as a couple if we are still together after all we have been through. If there is communication between 2 people i think thats enough to get you on a even keel, and also i think we have to tell each other how we feel. whats affected in our relationship is the sex life and thats one word i hate right now even though we are exhausted. we have to make time for it, i used to love my sex life haha. as a whole over the years i become a stronger person i think and another thing i havent got much friends. following the diagnosis we are both on anti depressants and both have our ups and downs. but we love each other.
