new delaying tactics? Family fund
|
|

I have spoken to 3 people today who have all had their family fund applications returned requesting further documents, when those documents are already attached to the application! I remember years ago the DWP did something similar to delay payment to many families and make their budget appear to spread further and wondered if this was the same....... maybe even the same managers making the rules? |

Very intresting thoughts there!
Maybe the family fund adviser here could shed some light why this appears to be happening? ![]() Our Irish members can also use our new website for Ireland which is |

The people I have heard it happened to were from Birmingham, merseyside and mid-wales, They all had a letter and a second class envelope, the letter stated they had failed to provide the information required and for the to check what had been marked on a list as being needed...... the item or items ticked were already in with the applications.
The letters are apparently unsigned but endd as applications (I assume that's a team at family fund) By the way, the second class envelpoe is prepaid and correctly adressed to family fund BUT way too small for all the paperwork to fit in ![]() I have told them to send the paperwork with a covering letter and also to email family fund to ask why the documents had not been spotted. |
