Announcement

Families who have children and young people with special needs very often deal with similar life styles. We have all had concerns ranging from education, acess to services, respite and other issues directly related to their childrens needs. Parents of disabled children bring families together for friendship, to share information and to support one another.

The forum was created by parents who have children with special needs and is run by parents so we are all in this together. With us you will realise you are not alone

Parents of disabled children launched in October 2009 and we are growing day by day and are fastly becoming a major support resource for all

Matts obsessed with buses as well, he been using a digital camera since he was young and puts them on fotopic (as well as stealing other ppls pics on there hehe) his idea of a good day out is to spend a day in a different town and photograph and ride the different buses Big Grin dont think he was that happy when i passed my test but now that we drive to other areas he is happy and we can use his pass for him to get on free even though we would have to pay as it out of area

sounds like my son Corinne. Nathan trawls the net to find pics of local buses. He's even got place mats that we made n laminated. He won't eat his tea unless he has one. He knows all the local routes n where to catch them on the bus station, has done since he was tiny.

we went on vistaprint and uploaded pics of a selection of buses to be made into a calendar, its great he marks down his days out on it and has even started turning the page over at end of month (took us a while to realise me or mark hadnt done it hehe) and you can get a lot of stuff there too like t shirts and caps, had a lot of stuff done over the years as its hard to find things with buses on

We don't get a concession on our tickets though, wonder if we should?

What area are you in Claire?

We are in Merseyside
