We have all had concerns ranging from education, acess to services, respite and other issues directly related to their childrens needs. Parents of disabled children bring families together for friendship, to share information and to support one another.

The forum was created by parents who have children with special needs and is run by parents so we are all in this together. With us you will realise you are not alone

Parents of disabled children launched in October 2009 and we are growing day by day and are fastly becoming a major support resource for all

There comes a point in your life when you realize:Who matters,Who never did,Who won't anymore...And who always will..
So, don't worry about people from your past, there's a reason why they didn't make it to your future.

The scotish system varies from the English system.
In England some councils issue a seperate pass to carers.
In Scotland however a buspass issued allows a companion to travel free.
Details of this can be found on http://www.transportscotland.gov.uk/conc...looks-like
So yes it would seem you could travel as a companion because of the age.
What rate do you get at the moment in regards to DLA?
