i originally applied to the family fund before they upped the income amount. i got a letter last week telling me that i can now apply again. i sent the form back asking for haven holiday grant, a lovely lady phoned me and said that i will get £500 for a haven holiday and did i want anything else as there was extra funding available. she asked if i ran a car, i said no, so she said she will put down transport costs as another thing.
i got the acceptance letter this morning, £500 for a haven holiday and £300 for transport costs. i am really grateful for this help. |

hello, just to say, you can ask for both the holiday and the computer. I did and was awarded both. But you have to put what you would like in order 1,2,3 . My 3rd choice was declined, but managed a £500 holiday voucher and a computer, so all good. Might just add that the voucher is for Thomas Cook and holidays are very expensive from there unless it's last minute then you could grab yourself a deal!
