We have all had concerns ranging from education, acess to services, respite and other issues directly related to their childrens needs. Parents of disabled children bring families together for friendship, to share information and to support one another.

The forum was created by parents who have children with special needs and is run by parents so we are all in this together. With us you will realise you are not alone

Parents of disabled children launched in October 2009 and we are growing day by day and are fastly becoming a major support resource for all

family fund - income
cheapsensorytoys
hi this is my first post, for the last 4 years i have qualified for help from the family fund. but under new rules i earn £1027 a year to much (i now receive full housing and council tax benefit and work). i have 3 children so my income would be more than those people with only 1 child, how come family fund doesn't allow any thing for families with more children as there income and expendiure would be more.
also the council breakdown says i am receiving £22 a week under what they say is the amount i need to live on.
by the way i'm in england if i lived in scotland i would qualify.
