cheap sensory toys

Announcement

Families who have children and young people with special needs very often deal with similar life styles. We have all had concerns ranging from education, acess to services, respite and other issues directly related to their childrens needs. Parents of disabled children bring families together for friendship, to share information and to support one another.

The forum was created by parents who have children with special needs and is run by parents so we are all in this together. With us you will realise you are not alone

Parents of disabled children launched in October 2009 and we are growing day by day and are fastly becoming a major support resource for all

Cerebra Grant Fund
cheapsensorytoys
i dont think cerebra have a problem funding larger pieces of equipment so even if it was say one large wall piece that contained a number of sensory items, if you were to look around and saw a piece you specifically liked then id go for it and apply!

Thanks Lucy, thats what I am going to do, something he can use now and hopefully grow into, I think I will speak to his nursery worker next week as he reacts to all their equipment so well.
Really appreciate the help

We got a shed off them to store my sons disabled equipment in.

Hi - sorry I didn't reply earlier. It only took about 3-4 weeks to get funding from Cerebra for Jack's bike. He had already been measured up for it so I just had to phone the company up to let them know we had funding and then the bike was delivered within a couple of weeks! It's great - it's so nice to see him being able to pedal a bike himself.
