We have all had concerns ranging from education, acess to services, respite and other issues directly related to their childrens needs. Parents of disabled children bring families together for friendship, to share information and to support one another.

The forum was created by parents who have children with special needs and is run by parents so we are all in this together. With us you will realise you are not alone

Parents of disabled children launched in October 2009 and we are growing day by day and are fastly becoming a major support resource for all

i actually filled out a Cerebra application last night for my little man for a WizzyBug http://www.wizzybug.org.uk/ im so hoping we get it as this would just be amazing for him!! but for everything he needs with it its just over £3500. keeping my fingers firmly crossed :-), good luck to all others who apply.

Our keyworker keeps trying to get us to apply for a grant from Cerebra, but to be honest I feel cheeky as I am not sure what Grayson needs, I don't know of much equipment that can help him enjoy life at the moment whilst he is so small and still so unable with his muscle tone. I am guessing bikes etc only work for when they are larger than him, I wish I could think of something as he looks so bored lately.

graysons mum, have you had a look at the wizzy bug above, apparently its ok for children over 18mths, we're going to see one next week, maybe it would be suitable for grayson?

I have seen this thread for several days and nbever thought to click as didnt think it would be somthing we would be entitled to?

However after clicking i notice sam fits the slot, but dont know what i could apply for if i was going to?
As hes nearly 6, and doesnt communicate well with others and finds it hard to concentrate on things for more than few seconds, so any toys are played with for 2mins then just chewed and ruined.
Also he doesnt yet know how to ride a bike so thats out of the question too?

So no doubt i wont apply but good to know about incase i ever need to?
