hello i have posted on here before about my sons complex needs. His ot come round to deliver a step for the toilet and bath and i asked him to look at my sons feet and the ot said that he had no arch on his foot. he has lax ligiments and the physio said he has hypermobility. dose anyone know what it means when a child dosent have a arch. he is getting a physio to look at his feet. he needs support when it comes down to shoes (This post was last modified: 08-07-2010 12:58 PM by Daniel.) |

our son has no arches either, i think it is due to him having low muscle tone, his ankles are quite flexy too, he has piedro boots with insoles but as soon as you take them off the problems still there.
We see a man from orthotic's who advised us to always buy boots if we werent using the piedros as they support the ankle and stop them collapsing inwards while supporting the whole foot oh and to look for shoes with a slight arch in. xx |
