im in same situation as you waiting to see some one about her behaviour
but they given me advice whilst im waiting

the advice was that they told me to ignore this behaviour
just stop them and say no once

my daughter going through the punching herself in stomach face and blaming every body else for it
trying to make her self sick etc

also tantruming on floor, she try telling me what to do

couldnt belive the time when she tried blaming her brother for hitting her
when he was sat down quietly watching cartoons with me
even school mentioned it
and the time she tried throwing up in supermarket

but they say it could be frustration through her speech delay or attention seeking

my daughter has a gdd/ severe learning disability, hypotonia

Hi my son is doing the same , and yesterday was worst day off it . They think he has sensory processing disorder , and its a sensory over load that is making him do this . My son has no speech so he cant tell you either . I've been told to do deep pressure touching with him and body brushing . He comes round if i whisper in his ear , this sensory issues are under Responsive . Talk to your sons OT who might be able to give you some ideas . Good luck

Single mum to a 14year old daughter and a son who is 3years old who has severe learning disability , hypotonia , hypermobility , visual impaired and sensory issues , he has showed me the meaning of life Heart and 3rd baby due 2nd of January 2012

a lot of times when children have no or limited speech it is very frustrating for them as they cant get themselves understood, a little like if we went to say china and nobody spoke english how hard would it be for us to keep calm while trying to get ourselves understood.
matt is 17 and it took till his understanding of things around him about 8 when he got calmer and he used things like pecs boards and now at college uses proloquo2go which is similar to pecs but is on an ipod and actually speaks for him.when matt was small massaging his feet used to relax him but it was hard when he was in attack mode to get hold of his feet Big Grin but did hear that indian head massage was good but when he was young it was only available in london. a technique i use when he is starting to get a temper now is distraction, i chuck him onto sofa and start saying "tickle time" lol not easy when he is 5f8 but if i catch it early enough he forgets why he is having the mood.

There comes a point in your life when you realize:Who matters,Who never did,Who won't anymore...And who always will..
So, don't worry about people from your past, there's a reason why they didn't make it to your future.
