Just wanted to share my new role.... Blush
Ive just been formally appointed as a school governor for a special needs school in my local area.
The school is currently a smaller school but is changing very shortly.
With effect from 2013 when it is anticipated that the school will be in a new school building on a new site. The school will be changing its designation to ASD specific with effect from 1st September 2010 and will become an all age special school with effect from 2012 and will cater for students with ASD aged 2 to 19 years From 2013.
So its exciting times ahead for the school and im delighted to be playing a role in the new times ahead and it will also be intresting to be on the other side of the fence being able to help parents from within Smile
