Nappies

its the maximum amount, dont know if it depends on area like everything else, there is always the reusable nappies and a nappy service that clean them which might work out cheaper (never appealed to me and they didnt have a service when matt was in nappies Big Grin)_

There comes a point in your life when you realize:Who matters,Who never did,Who won't anymore...And who always will..
So, don't worry about people from your past, there's a reason why they didn't make it to your future.

Hi Daniel, sorry, but I also can offer no information other than the offers from supermarkets, like Adsa. Did notice today that Sainsbury's at Castle Vale have pampers sensitive wipes on offer, box of 9 for £8, so might be offering nappies to match Asda's prices…

If you use a local Asda store regularly might it be worth speaking to the manager and explaining your situation, they might be willing to offer some kind of deal to a loyal customer?

It's annoying having to wait until our children are 4 years old, it should be considered on requirement rather than just age.
Went through this recently and although is was surprising straight forward we couldn't apply until Lydia had been seen and they couldn't see her until after her 4th birthday and then nurse was away so had to wait another 2 weeks. Then I was prepared to be offered a small amount of nappies but was surprised to hear that 4 is the maximum allowed per day (Warwickshire) and that nappies shouldn't be changed just because they are wet and should be left until 'wear indicator' said nappy was full. Did ask where indicator was but nurse didn't know on pampers nappies but assures me new supplier, due in September, did have a wear indicator. Myself, I don't like the thought of my daughter being wet and sitting in it, so will continue to buy extra nappies, but the allowance is better than nothing and at least a 30 page document wasn't needed to qualify.

Castle Vale is around 8 minutes away from us on the Chester Road Smile
I saw Boots had a crazy offer the other week on there instore advantage point booths in store.
Where you got 100 points when you bought any huggies item so the 99p wipes that were on offer actually paid people a penny to get them......
Go figure that one out Big Grin
We currently use ASDA for Nappies as the big boxes are on 2 for £18 Smile
They are selling for £18.99 a box in BOOTS Sad http://www.boots.com/en/Pampers-Baby-Dry...%20Nappies

I can slightly understand an age limit for some children for example some 3 year olds without any special needs are still in nappies and therefore they could say its no diffrent from another child.
Whereas when a child has any type of special needs that mean they require more frequent changing or more nappies than a child without special needs they should be obliged to help.
For example we spend around the £1000 a year on nappies alone and then the booster pads to make them absorb more plus the endless supply of wipes and we are looking at around £2000 a year alone on nappies and other stuff for that area Sad
Oh and for the sake of figures thats around about 5460 nappies a year on average days and when he had bad days much more.
