We have all had concerns ranging from education,acess to services,respite and other issues directly related to their childrens needs. Parents of disabled children bring families together for friendship, to share information and to support one another.

The forum was created by parents who have children with special needs and is run by parents so we are all in this together. With us you will realise you are not alone

lol when i get chance!!! what i dont get is my son had a bed on the floor and he fell asleep but his nappy didnt hold it all and i only found out later. i scrubbed it up with flash all purpose cleaner and it came right out and dried with no lingering smell. i think if this doesnt work we will pull that part of the carpet up and see what we can do there. i think we should definitly have a thread about cleaning tips - my daughter regulary smears her tv with poo and loads of other things that they do. even if its just to tell each other that poo and pee are a daily occurance and its not just my child who is a dirty bugger lol!!!

I like that fragranced dettol spray in an aerosol can too. Its only meant for hard surfaces but its good for everything - a bit like airfreshner but disinfectant too. Also zoflora. I should have shares in zoflora and dettol! I put zoflora in with the washing in the fabric softener drawer when I need to wash pooey things (after soaking them first). Ps I dont work for zoflora or dettol I swear!

I would put febreeze on your carpet too. do give a fresh smell, instead the smell of wee. my son was sick alot due to his reflux little one and i had to rip my carpet especially when my mother in law came up her hygeine is awful and he dog stunk and my whole house stunk too. lol. i was glad to get rid of her.

honestly, you should all try cleaning products for animals because they destroy bacterias and bad odours and then maybe put zoflora on after its dried.....to make the room smell fresh!
