Families who have children and young people with special needs very often deal with similar life styles. We have all had concerns ranging from education,acess to services,respite and other issues directly related to their childrens needs. Parents of disabled children bring families together for friendship, to share information and to support one another.

The forum was created by parents who have children with special needs and is run by parents so we are all in this together. With us you will realise you are not alone

Parents of disabled children launched in October 2009 and we are growing day by day and are fastly becoming a major support resource for all

had respite meeting thursday (fingers crossed we are getting respite back through somewere called caretech) out clubbing last night and matt had his outreach hiking this morning so we went up town and i bought a pile of wool so going to have a go at knitting a jumper (never knitted more than a scarf before lol) its fluffy wool and has ribbons running through it really unusual and checking out suitcases as not been on hols for about 5 yrs so i want a new one (mark is insisting he will use matts old bag he had for respite before cheapskate lol) then had to do food shopping after he got back (bro in law sat with him as we do his shopping as well cause he still lives with mum)
so thats what i have been doing lol
