Got a phone call this afternoon from brads school to say he had by mistake eaten someone else packed lunch, he had picked up a bag that looked like his and eaten the sandwich and half a sausage roll, they then said that saidly it had been left at the school since sometime last wk soo was pretty mouldy!! I said shall i come and collect him incase his sick and they said no his fine blahh blahh!!

I nearly cried when i got off the phone that my poor little boy would eat this without noticing from the taste or the look of it that it was gone off!! and WHY on earth they just left a mouldy lunch bag on the lunch trolly all wk and wkend without moving it or something!
Anyways his now home and saying he feels poorly , his refusing a cuppa tea and chocolate fingers soo i noo his not lying bless him.

Just feel so angry at no one helping him find his bag or making sure his ok with his lunch , his 121 said she goes home for lunch so the dinner ladys are ment to watch him but sounds like no one was!!

Yes you have every right to be angry, I would be too! Your poor son, I just hope he doesn't end up with food poisoning. This is the reason 1-2-1 should still be available at lunchtimes and playtime, supervision isn't something that is not suddenly needed at those times. I would make a complaint to the head, this is something that needs addressing and it's not your son's fault. Hope he's feeling ok soon x

sorry he isnt feeling well, unfortunatly Children will eat anything, we feel bad when we see them eat mud as well lol but on a serious note you do need to complain as they seem to be brushing this off as unimportant, your son gets 1:1 because of things like this for starters and if the 1:1 goes home at lunch there should be someone taking her place (thats what i fought mainly to get matts 1:1 for as i worried about him gettin lunch now at college) and also its a health and safety issue, not only for your son but the fact that it wasnt thrown out at the end of the day never mind the end of the week it shoudnt have even been in the school never mind the trolley.
hope he feels better, perhaps try him with some arrowroot biscuit or a rich tea as they are plain and will help his stomach settle. 22

There comes a point in your life when you realize:Who matters,Who never did,Who won't anymore...And who always will..
So, don't worry about people from your past, there's a reason why they didn't make it to your future.
