I would be tempted to save any soiled clothing, towels, nightware etc and deliver it to the school head once the little fella is better. Thankfully there is very little meat in sausage rolls and having been in a sealed bag he should recover in 24 hours (the nasties breed in open air or warm places usually)
I dont know how lazy a person has to be not to check lunchbags or their storage area before fresh ones are added, unforgivable! Give him lots of water and plain biccies if he has an appetite and leave the dairy goods alone until he's been well for a whole day too

Hi,
Is Bradley showing any symptoms yet? It can take upto 24 hours for symptoms to show so be wary. If symtoms show go to your doctor straight away and get a stool sample done for culture as this is crucial evidence. The doctors would then inform enviormental health and they would investigate. Might be worth contacting them anyway as they will be able to advise the school on safe protocols for the future. Do remember if he was to develop food poisoning they can usually pin point from what so this will be useful if needed. I would also arrange an urgent appointment with the head teacher tommorow and ask that he/she starts a formal investigation with the outcome placed in writing regardless if there is food poisoning to consider as next time it may not be so lucky! Also if food poisoning was an issue, you could take legal action for compensation, and i know of a few solictors who would take the case on so if needed do let me know! ![]() Our Irish members can also use our new website for Ireland which is |
