Parents of disabled children bring families together for friendship, to share information and to support one another.

The forum was created by parents who have children with special needs and is run by parents so we are all in this together. With us you will realise you are not alone

Parents of disabled children launched in October 2009 and we are growing day by day and are fastly becoming a major support resource for all

There comes a point in your life when you realize:Who matters,Who never did,Who won't anymore...And who always will..
So, don't worry about people from your past, there's a reason why they didn't make it to your future.

Hi Daniel, they said we are not entitled to the consessionary pass as Charlie is under 5 and he is free on the bus.

surely I would be able to claim for my mother in law's pass though?

Yes you would be fine as the Castlepoint system allows a companion to travel with the disabled person and it doesnt say who that is so i believe that means its an open pass for those travelling at the time.
She wouldnt however be given her own pass and it would be used when your child is travelling with her.
Details can be found at:
http://www.castlepoint.gov.uk/documents/...20Form.pdf

Thank you for that - they are sending me the forms
xx
Fantastic news!
Let us know how you get on
