We have all had concerns ranging from education, acess to services, respite and other issues directly related to their childrens needs. Parents of disabled children bring families together for friendship, to share information and to support one another.

The forum was created by parents who have children with special needs and is run by parents so we are all in this together. With us you will realise you are not alone

Parents of disabled children launched in October 2009 and we are growing day by day and are fastly becoming a major support resource for all

Dont suppose you have a photo of it to share?
Might be a disrepair issue which legal action could help with!

Ring ur local Environmental health office, they will come out and asses your home and if they belive your home is unfit for living in, or ur windows need repairing as you say they will psuh the council to do this.. if the jobs aint completed withint certain time frame they will then take the council to court and claim compensation for you.

Let me know if you want me to take a look at the pic even if you want to send it by PM.
Also if for some stupid reason they say its safe another option would be the disabled facilitys grant which states the following:

Strengthened glass in windows and doors
We will consider giving assistance with providing strengthened glass if there is a serious risk of glass being broken because of the disability.

So maybe you could maybe say that because of his health condition you need window protection to avoid him breaking them if he throws something Big Grin

Just a thought as a possible loophole!
