its with one of the community peads who runs the pead clinic at my gp surgery an hospital (they have 20 odd different clinics there)
glad really as the surgery is only 5mins away and jack is scared of hospital but seems ok there as he has speech therapy there too

today i feel abit more possitive still tearful tho just so many worries but jack had his first dry night last night and didnt wake up at all
finally a step forward i hope

the school where he has nursery has also offered me voluntary work if crb ok so hopefully il be able to see for myself what support the children actually get in the school

excellent news about the appointment and great news about sleeping/dry night as for the appointment i would spend the weekend noting down concerns when you remember them so you dont forget anything monday. I've done that so many times and i'm kicking myself when i come out of an appointment and remember something of importance! try and be relaxed about it, explain about what the nursery have told you, his speech, etc anything you feel is different, even the eating funny things!

I am sure it will go fine, it will probably just be an initial appointment to run through your concerns and decide on a play forward such as a formal assessment maybe. I hope it goes well for you and i hope the doctor is a good one, it really makes all the difference

well ive started writing alist omg its so long think i need to cut it down a little really dont want them to think im a worrier an picking at everything

ive got no one to go with us this time hoping it be ok but if it dont my aunty will come next time shes pretty clued up on asd etc an she swears jack is on the spectum
her boys have adhd (1 of them), aspergers, dyslexia, dyspraxia and other bits i lost track

really nervous about going now tho an how jack will be


last night was a really bad night for jack hes not well again high temp and cold happens twice a month sure its due to the dodgy windows we have, he wet the bed so was freezing an leg pains again.
it was that bad the neighbours came round at 8 to check we were all ok because they could hear him
